Each term the children will undertake a project based around a famous artist, experimenting with styles, techniques and materials to achieve a finished piece of work. The produced work will be put on display around the school and stored in digital portfolios.
Art (Yr 5 - 6)
The Year 5-6 Art Club is run by Mr Leslie and Miss Farrant in the art Room from 3.30pm - 4.45pm on a Wednesday.
The idea is to build up a series of images in individual sketch books which will be displayed with the final pieces at the exhibition. This club is for the older children and is an opportunity to use art, craft and design to improve pupils' self-confidence and creativity. The children will be encouraged to choose their own materials and resources, making decisions and working confidently in groups and on their own.
