Year 5 started this term on a fantastic river journey over the moors and down into Teignmouth. They enjoyed learning river terms and discovering the underwater world with their mini-beast hunt.
There was no time to relax once they returned, as they began rewinding back to the 1600s. The children produced an incredible performance in the grounds of Killerton House, based around the English Civil war and the rise of the Roundheads, led by Oliver Cromwell.
After all of the excitement had died down, they got stuck straight into filming their documentaries, which are intended to be shown to different schools across the world for the school’s Global Communities Project - some of them are now real pros in front of a camera!
