KS2 Class Teacher - Summer Term 2017
The Cornerstone Academy Trust, which is responsible for Broadclyst Community Primary School and the recently open Westclyst Community Primary School, utilises its Academy freedoms to deliver an enriched and exciting project-based, problem solving curriculum. This is an exciting time to join a growing team within the academy trust.
We are looking to recruit a class teacher to be based in KS2. Required after Easter 2017, the post is for a fixed term until the end of July 2017.
We wish to employ an inspiring and professionally thoughtful teacher who must be able to use a range of teaching styles and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children. The successful candidate will need to be both creative and passionate about learning. They must be able to teach using a multi-disciplinary approach, using ICT in a fully integrated way as a tool for both teaching and learning, which the school is nationally recognised for.

Required as soon as possible is a ‘School Minibus Driver’ to be employed on a casual basis. The role will include transporting pupils and staff on educational visits or sporting fixtures and other similar activities. You will be required to drive one of the school’s three brand new 17 seater minibuses or our 7 seater car.
You should possess a clean driving licence, ideally with category D1, and be willing to undertake any necessary training, dependant on the types of vehicle your licence permits you to drive. Any training costs will be funded by the school.
The post is a zero hours contract where hours of work will be agreed on a mutually acceptable basis as and when the need for work arises. The hourly rate for this position is £7.20 plus an element of holiday pay.
