This morning we arrives at Nørre Aaby School to a warm welcome from the children and staff-
Headmaster Martin Falk officially welcomed us and Politician Johannes Lundsfryd Jenson discussed the changes and ambitions for the school over the next 5 years. The school is currently undergoing great changes and as a result of a government initiative in education there is much building work taking place to provide challenging and inspiring learning environment for the young people. The school holds 400 pupils with classes of 20 children and a staff of 25 teachers.
We visited two classes in the school this morning and made presentations to the children about the school, Broadclyst and England. The children were very excited to meet us and learn about our school and country. Tomorrow we will watch a best practise lesson based on Hans Christan Anderson and already have lots of ideas of our own to bring back to school,
In the afternoon we visited Egeskov Castle. This is still inhabited by Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Bille who opened its doors to the public in 1962.
