Year 3 took part in a Skype call with Quaker Ridge school in America as part of the Global Communities Project (GCP) art project. Each school had a local artist in to visit and then spent some time recreating some of their artwork. Quaker Ridge created an online gallery of their artwork whilst Broadclyst posted theirs on Yammer for others to comment on. During the Skype call children from Broadclyst showed the children in America how to log onto Yammer and encouraged them to write their own comments. The plan now is to swap artists and have a go at completing some of their artwork. We are all looking forward to seeing some of the finished results.
