Recently, the Chamber Choir from Broadclyst, went on a trip to London to sing in the Young Voices Choir, at the O2 arena. The choir was made up of over 8000 primary school students from different schools in England. We also went to The Natural History Museum and the Tate Modern, which were both really interesting. When we got near to the O2, we went on the cable-car that goes across the Thames. Some of us were really scared but, when they started going, we really enjoyed it!
The event was an amazing experience to be part of such a big and breath-taking sound. The best part was when it went dark. Everybody had been given small torches so when the lights turned off everybody shone them and all you could see was a sea of lights. The songs we sang were incredible and when everyone came together, we sounded astonishing. Some songs had dances choreographed by Andy Instone who was in Urban Stride. We also had some special guests; they were: Ruti Olajugbagbe, the Voice winner 2018, The Shires and Tony Hadley. My personal favourite was The Shires. If we have the chance to go again the answer would always be a "Yes!"
