Crediton Bookshop Visit

The whole school loved having Crediton Community Bookshop come in to talk to us about some of their most popular and well recommended books this morning.

As well as having an opportunity to buy new books to take home, each year group had the opportunity to hear recommendations from the librarians.

Some of the recommendations included 'The Highland Falcon Thief' - an adventure by M. G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman, 'The Wild Robot Escapes - by Peter Brown and 'Anna at War' - by Helen Peters. Younger children may also enjoy 'Dinosaur Juniors' - by Rob Biddulph, 'The New Neighbours' - by Sarah McIntyre and 'Oi, Duck-Billed Platypus!' - by Kes Gray and Jim Field.

We would also like to remind parents of the Libby eReader which allows children (and adults) access to free eBooks through all Exeter linked libraries. All that is needed is a library card account - as the app asks for library card number and the account's four digit pin number. The app can then be installed on a wide range of devices.
